FILTER is a dance that challenges the boundaries of conventional movement. It explores the intersection of art and conflict resolution, using the medium of dance to convey powerful messages. As an indigenous Norwegian choreographer and a Master of International Relations, I aim to create performances that provoke thought and inspire change. Through the use of an LED light-strip as a symbolic demarcation, I delve into the complexities of two entities in conflict and the impact it has on the people involved. Join me on this artistic journey and let's explore the power of movement and storytelling together.

FILTER is created in support of Artsdepot, (UK), and Kulturrådet (Norway). It is choreographed by Kristina Hay in collaboration with dancers. Mariel Lowe is FILTER's dramaturg and administrative assistant. Elisa Nader created costume design and assisted with dramaturgy. Kayla Arend filmed our "Rehearsal Preview".
